The Sino-European School of Technology of Shanghai University operates under the system of a Joint Administrative Board. Under this council, there are several sub-committees and bodies, including the Director Committee, the Policy&Administration Committee, the Improvement Council, the Scientific Committee, the Student Union, and the Labor Union.
The Joint Administrative Board consists of 15 members: 8 representatives from Shanghai University and 7 representatives from the French Universities of Technology (UT Group).
The President of Shanghai University serves as the Chairman of the Joint Administrative Board, while Mr. Montavon Ghislain, President of the UT Group and President of the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM), serves as the Vice-Chairman.
